Pattern info
After each row a number is written within parentheses. This is the number of stitches you should have after each row is complete, not counting the beginning chain stitch.

Materials:
Yarn: Jette 2 skein for the smaller bowl and 3,5 for the bigger one
Hook: 8,0mm
Button: 20mm for the smaller bowl and 25mm for the bigger one
Scissor
Needle with a big eye
Washing machine
Tips & help:
In the end of the pattern, you will find a number of pictures to help guide you. These pictures apply for both the smaller and bigger yarnbowl.
The looser you crochet the harder your bowl will felt in the washing machine.
Small Yarn bowl
Start with an mr, ch 1
1. Make 6 sc in mr, pull ring tight, sl st into first st (6) ch 1
2. *2 sc in 1 st* x6, sl st into first st (12) ch 1
3. *2 sc in 1 st, 1 sc* x6, sl st into first st (18) ch 1
4. *2 sc in 1 st, 1 sc in 2 sts* x6, sl st into first st (24) ch 1
5. *2 sc in 1 st, 1 sc in 3 sts* x6, sl st into first st (30) ch 1
6. *2 sc in 1 st, 1 sc in 4 sts* x6, sl st into first st (36) ch 1
7. *2 sc in 1 st, 1 sc in 5 sts* x6, sl st into first st (42) ch 1
8. *2 sc in 1 st, 1 sc in 6 sts* x6, sl st into first st (48) ch 1
9. *2 sc in 1 st, 1 sc in 7 sts* x6, sl st into first st (54) ch 1

Cut and fasten yarn.
Felt the yarn bowl in the washing machine.
Once felted, shape the bowl to the desired shape, don’t forget to stretch the chain loop. Let the bowl dry and sew your button in place.
Big yarn bowl
Start with an mr, ch 1
1. Make 6 sc in mr, pull ring tight, sl st into first st (6) ch 1
2. *2 sc in 1 st* x6, sl st into first st (12) ch 1
3. *2 sc in 1 st, 1 sc* x6, sl st into first st (18) ch 1

Cut and fasten yarn.
Felt the yarnbowl in the washing machine.
Once felted shape the bowl to the desired shape, don’t forget to stretch the chain loop. Let the bowl dry and sew your button in place.
