It’s possible that these are the simplest crocheted baby socks you’ll ever find. With the crocheted ties they also stay on the wildest of feet.

Materials
Yarn: 50 gr Llama soft (Balls: 50gr, 150m/164yards), you could check yarnsub for an yarn that’s easier for you to get your hands on.
Hook: 4,0mm
Scissors
Needle
Gauge: 16 dc x 9 rows = 10x10cm (4”x4”)
To check your gauge:
Start by chaining 18
1-9. Starting in third chain from hook make 1 dc in each st (16) ch 2, turn
You square should now be 10x10cm (4”x4”)
Sizes: 8 cm & 10 cm

Socks 8 cm
Make a mr and ch 2.
1. Make 10 dc in mr, sl st into first st and pull your ring tight (10) ch 2
2. 2dc in each st, sl st into first st (20) ch 2
3-5. 1 dc in each st, sl st into first st (20) ch 2
6. 1 dc in each st sl st into first st (20) ch 1
You will now work back and forth.
7. 1 sc in 13 sts (13) ch 1, turn
8. 1 sc in 13 sts (13) turn
9. Sk first st, 1 sc in 11 sts, sl st into next st (12) turn
10. Sk first st, 1 sc in 9 sts, sk 1 st, sl st into next st (10) turn
11. Sk first st, 1 sc in 7 sts, sk 1 st, sl st into next st (8) turn
12. Sk first st, 1 sc in 5 sts, sk 1 st, sl st into next st (6) turn
13. Sk first st, 1 sc in 3 sts, sk 1 st, sl st into next st (4) turn
14. Sk first st, 1 sc, sk 1 st, sl st into next st (2), turn
You will now make the top part of the sock by crocheting around your opening.
15. Make 24 dc evenly placed around the opening, sl st into first st (24) ch 2, turn
16. 1 dc in each st, sl st into first st (24) ch 2 turn
17. 1 dc in each st, sl st into first st (24) ch 2 turn
18. 1 dc in each st, sl st into first st (24)
Cut your yarn and fasten off.
To make you ties that will keep the sock in place on tiny feet ch 65 and in the second
ch from hook make 1 sl st in each chain across, fasten your yarn and weave in your ties in your 16th row.

Socks 10 cm

Cut your yarn an fasten off.
To make you ties that will keep the sock in place on tiny feet ch 71 and in the second ch from hook make 1 sl st in each chain across, fasten your yarn and weave in your ties in your 19th row.
Repeat row 1-22 got the other sock.
