Cute and simple can never go wrong! This romper can never go wrong and is suitable baby crochet wear for all occasions. For an extra girlish touch, you can add a little ruffle on the straps. The pattern has step by step pictures to show you how to crochet the romper and will make it an easy pattern for beginners as well as advanced crocheters.

Materials
Yarn: 50-75 gr Llama soft (Balls: 50gr, 150m/164yards), you could check yarnsub for an yarn that’s easier for you to get your hands on.
Hook: 4,0mm
2 wooden buttons approx. 20 mm D
Scissors
Needle
Sizes: 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months
Gauge: 16 dc x 9 rows = 10x10cm (4”x4”)
To check your gauge:
Start by chaining 18
1-9. Starting in third chain from hook make 1 dc in each st (16) ch 2, turn
You square should now be 10x10cm (4”x4”)

Size 0-3 months
Body
Ch 22
1. In third ch from hook make 1 dc, then 1 dc in the following 19 chains (20) ch 2, turn
2-8. 1 dc in each st (20) ch 2, turn
9. 2dc in first st, 1 dc in 18 sts, 2dc in last st (22) ch 2, turn
10. 2dc in first st, 1 dc in 20 sts, 2 dc in last st, ch 38, sl st into first st of this row – make sure your chain doesn’t get twisted. (62) ch 2, turn
You will now continue to work back and forth but you will join each row at the end before turning.
11-20. 1 dc in each st, sl st into first st (62) ch 2, turn
Back of romper – you will now continue to work back and forth but without closing each row with a slip stitch

Go back to where you made your last decrease on row 21 and fasten you yarn in the stitch right next to it. Ch 2
1. Dc3tog, 1 dc in 18 sts, de3tog (20) ch 2, turn
2. Dc3tog, 1 dc in 14 sts, dc3tog (16) ch 2, turn
3. Dc2tog, 1 dc in 12 sts, dc2tog (14) ch 2, turn
4. Dc2tog, 1 dc in 10 sts, dc2tog (12) ch 2, turn
5. Dc2tog, 1 dc in 8 sts, dc2tog (10) ch 2, turn
6. 1 dc in each st (10) ch 2, turn

Turn your work inside out. Place the 10 sts from your front of jumpsuit against your 10 sts from the back of the romper and make 1 sc through both sides in each st (10) fasten your yarn and sew in your ends.
Straps
Whit the romper turned right side out and front facing you, count 15 sts from the left of the chest part of the romper and in the 16th fasten your yarn and ch 2
1. In the same st as your ch make 1 dc, 1 dc in 7 sts (8) ch 2, turn
2. 1 dc in each st (8) ch 2, turn
3. 1 dc in each st (8) ch 2, turn
You will now divide for each strap.
4-19. 1 dc in 4 sts (4) ch 2, turn
The hole for your button will be made now.
20. Ch 2 more (total 4 ch), sl st tog in the fourth st, ch 1, turn, make 8 sc around your chain, faster your yarn and sew in your ends.
To make your second strap fasten your yarn in the fifth st on row 3 ch 2 and then follow row 4-20 from above.
To finish your romper sew your buttons in place and fasten your yarn ends securely.
