Stacked Diamonds Christmas Stocking

Learn to make a Christmas crochet stocking that you can customize to suit your own style with one of the three included stocking cuff options.
Stacked Diamonds is a simple, yet beautifully textured crochet stocking pattern that will quickly become a favorite that you’ll cherish for years to come.
Construction: This Christmas stocking crochet pattern is worked from the top opening down to the toe, no matter which cuff option you choose. If you choose either a simple cuff or ribbed cuff, you’ll have a one piece Christmas stocking. If you’ve chosen a faux fur cuff, you’ll crochet the stocking sock from the top to the toe. A faux fur cuff is then made and sewn on. Faux fur pompoms are then added, if desired.
Yarn:
The samples shown were made using two different worsted weight Lion Brand Yarns. Lion Brand Wool Ease and Lion Brand Basic Stitch. The faux fur cuff is Lion Brand Yarns Go For Faux.
Stocking is an A Crocheted Simplicity original design.

Joyful Textures Christmas Stocking

My absolute favorite thing to make this time of year is a crochet Christmas stocking. While you’ll find a large variety of design styles from stocking to stocking, many of them also seem to have a classic flare. What’s the best part of a classic crochet Christmas design? The simple fact that you are crafting an heirloom your family will cherish for years to come. Then, once a year at Christmas time, even after you’ve left this earth, that simple crochet stocking you made years before will fill their hearts and minds with memories of Christmases past.
Yarn:
- Lion Brand Wool Ease Worsted (160 yards)
- Lion Brand Mandala Omre (170 yards)
- Lion Brand Go For Faux (32 yards)
